Zakharova dismisses US Senate accusations as unsubstantiated
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that part of the US Senate report on alleged Russian interference in the American elections is meaningless and devoid of facts.
She noted that this also applies to other parts of the report and the 'Muller report.'
According to Zakharova, Moscow repeatedly commented on the US claims and said they were unsubstantiated.
For our part, we can only regret that the bilateral dialogue was heavily damaged due to their ambitions and desire to stir up anti-Russian sentiments, the diplomat added.
NEWS.ru reported earlier that Washington had warned Russia, China, and Iran of serious implications if they meddle in the United States' presidential race, according to National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien.
